How to set up your Eequ Listing

Add one block of dates πŸ—“οΈ

On your DATES tab, add a block of dates that include all the dates you are open over the summer:

Ticket Types 🎟️

OPTION 1: Choose a BLOCK ticket type if you want parents to be forced to book all the dates this summer.

(Expect more queries regarding cancellations)

πŸ’‘Tip: For open access provisions, we recommend to use block tickets if you don't need to regulate the group size.

OPTION 2: Choose a SESSION ticket type if you are happy for parents to book individual sessions.

(Expect less queries about cancellations)


Group Size πŸ‘­

  1. If you wish, you can set a larger group size to account for no-shows, in order to achieve the number of places you have agreed the funding for. Please note: you will only be paid for the agreed maximum funding.

  2. Take your register each day and only mark those who attended


Booking Cut off - Advanced Setting βš™οΈ

πŸ’‘Tip: This setting is recommended for open access providers who do not regulate their group size.

  1. Switch on the new setting Booking Cut off

  2. Select β€œAllow walk-ins”

  3. Enter the hours to ensure bookings stay open 30 mins after the end of your session (e.g. 8 hours 30 mins). This will help you to catch the parents and getting them to make a booking.


QR code at reception πŸ“±

  1. Download a QR code for your Eequ listing

  2. Create a big poster for the entrance/ reception area

  3. Catch parents as they come in and ask them to scan and book for today

Managing booking requests 🟒


Once you start receiving booking requests, you will need to either approve or cancel them in order to complete the booking process.
​
To approve a booking, you can do so by going to menu > Bookings and ticking the green check next to each booking βœ…
​

πŸ’‘Tip: If you don't want to approve each booking one by one, you can turn on the 'Auto- approve bookings' setting for your listing. This is recommended to those open access providers who do not regulate their group size.

To turn this setting on, go to menu > Listings > Select edit listing
​


Select Settings tab and toggle the switch next to Auto-approve bookings.
​



To cancel a booking, select the red X next to each booking ❌
​


You will be able to include a cancellation message
​

Taking the Register βœ…

To take the register, go to menu > Registers > Select Take Register next to the session you want to record
​


Mark your attendees by selecting the box next to their name
​
