If you or your child wishes to sit GCSE, IGCSE or A Level exams, you will need to apply directly to an exam centre for them to sit as an external (or private) candidate. You may also need help to get coursework or labwork assessed. We can help you through the process with the help of our partner, Tutors & Exams.

If you are a learner on Eequ you will be entitled to the partner rate which is the equivalent of a 10% - 15% discount by selecting "Eequ" as your referring organisation, during the payment process.

Tutors & Exams provides learners, typically those outside of mainstream education, with access to assessment opportunities regardless of age or background. Since 2014 they have established a network of exam centres across the UK that currently serves 54% the UK adult population with more planned to open in the coming academic year.

Each of their Private Candidate Exam Centres is able to provide a wealth of assessment options, from A Levels to Functional Skills. As a Home Educator, Distance Learner, Excluded Learner or Private Candidate you can be assured of a safe, calm and welcoming environment with staff dedicated to ensuring you receive the best possible service. They will be there to guide you from initial enquiry to certification.

If you want to access their services, you will need to complete their online application form. Alternatively, you can call them on 024 7622 1008 where a Tutors & exams colleague will be pleased to assist you.

Tutors and Exams provides examination and assessment facilities in Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, St.Neots & Wimbledon for home educated and private candidates.

All are approved for examination delivery by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and CAIE. We have a dedicated Science laboratory in Birmingham delivering A Level Science practicals all year round alongside another laboratory in London offering Science practicals outside of term time. They cater for 95% of all A Level/GCSE/iGCSE subjects and can assist in organising Access Arrangements.
