📍 What is a Collection?

A Collection is a central hub where customers can explore your listings, and discover other offerings from the Eequ marketplace.

They include:

📋 A showcase of your listings and others from the Eequ Marketplace

📝 An About section to introduce yourself or your organisation

🗺️ A map of your locations

🔗 A shareable link and QR code for bookers

🌐 Embed your Collection on your own website with a simple iframe

💡 Why use Collections?

  • Share one simple link instead of juggling multiple listings.

  • Give bookers a clear, professional view of everything you offer.

  • Make your marketing easier: add your Collection link to emails, social posts, and websites.

  • Collaborate with editors so you don’t have to do everything yourself.

🧡 It’s perfect for:

  • Organisations and education providers

  • Holiday clubs and venues

  • Community groups and councils

  • Schools and small businesses

  • Home educators and Home Ed parent collaboratives

Who Can Create a Collection?

Anyone with an Eequ account can create a Collection - Mentors or Bookers!

How to set up your Collection

Go to Menu > Collections

Click the Start building your Collection button

1. Add a name for your Collection

  1. Add new Collection name, then click the Create button.

  2. You can set up multiple Collections so it’s important to give each one a descriptive name.

💡Tip: Once you add your Collection name it becomes a sharable link (url), this cannot be edited once set.

2. Add your Collection's details

  1. Add a title for the short summary of describing what you offer

  2. Add a short paragraph summarising what your Collection is and offers

3. Add your Collection logo and cover photo

  1. Click the + icon to add your photos.

  2. Choose a cover photo that is impactful and engaging. Please don't upload an image that has text in it - it lessens the impact of your page!

💡Tip: Your logo is placed in a circle, make sure you have enough boarder for it to look good.

Here is an example:

4. Add your Listings to the Collection

  1. Select the checkbox by each listing and it will be automatically added

  2. To remove a listing, simply untick it.

💡 Tip: To add your listings, you need to have at least one listing that is published. Listings set to Private will also appear on your Organisation page.

5. Add any listings from the Eequ marketplace

  1. Search for the Listing(s) you want to add in the input box

  2. Select the Listing from the dropdown

  3. It will then be previewed on the page

  4. If you need to remove it, simply click the remove button.

  5. When you add another Mentors Listings, they will be notified by email.

📧 The email Mentors receive when you add their listing.

6. Select an ordering method

You can choose to order your listings in one of two ways:

  1. Most places available: order your listings by most places available to fill those places.

  2. Manual order: manually order your listings to make the top ones the most visible.

7. Add Social links to your Collection

Promote your social media on your Collection by adding the links, and they’ll appear on your page for people to follow.

8. Add Collection editors

Invite existing Eequ mentors to manage your Collection with you.

If they do not have an Eequ account:

  1. Ask them to select the Join for free button on Eequ.org

  2. Enter their email in the search bar

  3. Select the yellow add button to add them

  4. The collection will appear in their account when they go to menu > collections

  5. To remove them, select the bin icon

Collection page editors can:

  • Add or remove listings from a collection

  • Add other editors

❌ They cannot:

  • Access any other part of your account (e.g bookings, registers etc.)

📧 Mentors will receive this email when you add them as an editor

9. Choose your Collection's visibility setting

Select from two choices:

  1. Public: Your page can be viewed by everyone and can be found on web browsers.

  2. Private: Only accessible to those who have the unique link.

10. Add your Collection to your website as an iFrame
