How to change a Listing assigned to the wrong Council

If you have mistakenly assigned your listing to the wrong council, you will need to create a new, duplicate Listing and unpublish the Listing assigned to the wrong council.

Step-by-step guide:

Listings without bookings

  1. Change the title of the incorrect listing to "DO NOT USE"

    Go to Menu > My Listing > Edit Listing

  2. Duplicate the incorrect listing:
    Go to Menu > My Listing > Manage Listing > Duplicate

  3. Create a new ticket for the new Listing selecting the correct council:
    Edit tickets > Click 'Create ticket button' > Council Funded

  4. Add dates or copy dates (from the old listing):
    Dates tab > Click 'Copy dates from another listing' > Select old listing

  5. Publish the new Listing

  6. Unpublish the "DO NOT USE" listing


Listings with bookings

If you have taken bookings on a Listing assigned to the wrong council, please:

  1. Follow the steps outlined above

  2. Copy the link for the new listing (or have it handy)

  3. Cancel all bookings associated with the Listing assigned to the wrong council

  4. When cancelling, add a message to bookers asking them to rebook, copy/paste the new Listing link
