Deciding on Adult Tickets

Only add adult tickets if you need to track them.

Whenever possible, allow parents to just accompany their children. Clarify this by:

  1. The Summary section on your Listing

  2. The Block name

  3. The 'Extra information' section of the ticket

If you MUST count adults, please ensure you:

Select 'children and adults together' for the age range

  1. Go to MENU > Listings

  2. Select 'children and adults together' for the age range

  3. Enter the age range and switch on the age enforcement

Select 'Accompanying Adult' for the Adult Ticket

When setting up the Adult ticket, please select 'Yes' for Accompanying Adult.

Troubleshooting & FAQS

What special properties do Adult HAF tickets have?

  • No child-related questions.

  • Not included in DfE metrics.

  • No Council eligibility check—approval is up to you.

Please note: Your council won't check eligibility for attendees 18+ unless they’ve set a higher threshold, such as under 26.

What should I do if an Adult books a child ticket?

Just decline the booking and ask them to book again, selecting the Adult ticket.

How do I indicate that Adults don't get a meal?

Try writing this in the ticket name, for example:

  • Adult Ticket, No Meal

Avoid Over or Under-Booking

If you're unsure how many adults will attend but need to limit funded child places, set a ticket limit for children while increasing the overall group size to allow flexibility.
