What are automatic discounts?
Automatic discounts are applied at checkout when a booking meets a rule you set. There are two types:
Multi-person – a discount when more than one person is booked, e.g. a sibling discount
Multi-session – a percentage off when someone books more than a set number of sessions
How to create a sibling discount
Go to Menu > Advanced features > Automatic discount and select New automatic discount.
Select Multi-person discount.
Name your discount, e.g. "Sibling discount". Bookers see this name.
Choose the listings and tickets it applies to.
Set how many attendees a booking must have more than for the discount to apply.
Choose who gets the discount and how much: a discounted price, an amount off, or a percentage (recommended).
Select Save.
How to create a multi-session discount
Go to Menu > Advanced features > Automatic discount and select New automatic discount.
Select Multi-session discount.
Choose the listings and tickets it applies to.
Set how many sessions a booking must have more than for the discount to apply, and enter the percentage.
Select Save.
Check your discounts
Select Calculator on the Automatic discounts page and set up a test booking to see which discounts apply.
Using both types together
Multi-session discounts are applied after multi-person discounts.
If two rules conflict, the booker gets the best price.
