How a Mentor Cancels a Booking or a Session

📝 Step-by-step guide

Option 1:

Go to Menu > Bookings > Click on a red cross in the actions column on your booking page > Select a session > Explain the cancellation reason > Check the summary of cancellation > Confirm cancellation

Option 2:

Go to Menu > Bookings > Click on 'View details' button > Select Cancel or Part Cancel button > Select a session > Explain the cancellation reason > Check the summary of cancellation > Confirm cancellation

Option 3:

Go to Menu > Cancel page > Select a listing > Select a session > Select learners > Explain the cancellation reason > Check the summary of cancellation > Confirm cancellation


✏️ Rules for Mentor cancellations

Payouts & Cancellations:

  • Payouts are processed daily at 17:30.

  • The system gives a 5-minute buffer — so the final cancellation deadline each day is 17:25.

  • After 17:25, payouts for eligible sessions are locked and can’t be canceled.

  • If a session ends in the future, there’s no constraint — it’s cancelable anytime before its payout is triggered.

  • If a session ended recently, there’s a clear window to cancel before the next payout run.

⏰ Cancellation window:
A session can be canceled only if its payout has not yet been processed. The system processes payouts daily at 17:30, and the final opportunity to cancel is 5 minutes before that — at 17:25 on payout day.


So, for any session:

  • If the session ends in the future → Cancel anytime before its payout run.

  • If the session ended within the last payout cycle → Cancel before the next payout deadline at 17:25.

  • If the session ended more than one payout cycle ago → It can’t be canceled (payout already processed).
