There are 2 ways to create discounts on Eequ; Automatic Discounts and Discount Codes. Find both of these methods on your Workflows page.
In this article, we explain when to use a Discount Code, how to set it up and what it looks like to a booker when a code is used. Let's dive in.
When to use a Discount Code
Create a discount code when you want to offer "money-off" or a "% discount off" for a booking. You would give the code to the booker and they would apply the code during checkout.
You can also use a discount code for a credit note by setting the use limit to 1.
How to set up a Discount Code
Go to Menu > Workflows
Select Discount Codes
Fill out the form and SAVE
You can create as many discount codes as you like.
You can decide which listings they apply to.
You can offer a £ discount off the whole booking or £ discount per attendee.
You can offer a % discount off the booking (recommended).
You can limit the number of codes available
You can limit to one use per customer
After you have created your first discount you will see your bank of codes and can monitor how often they are redeemed.
Click on the yellow code to copy it.
