You may wish to give a booker a credit note, either as a gesture of goodwill or instead of a refund. You can do this by creating a discount code that can only be used once.
How to create a credit note
Go to Menu > Advanced features, select Use Feature under Discount codes, then select New discount code.
Select Generate a code to create a random code.
Choose the listings the credit can be used on. To include all of them, select All current and future Listings.
Select A discount per booking and enter the credit amount.
Under Limit usage, tick Limit number of discount codes that can be used in total and enter 1.
Select Save, then copy the code and send it to the booker.
